Delivery Information

Dapper Dog offers free delivery on orders over £65.

Larger items may be subject to additional postage.

 

Where will Dapper Dog deliver goods?

Dapper Dog deliver within the UK and the EU. If you are outside of Europe please contact us at sales@dapperdog.co.uk for further details.

 

What delivery method does Dapper Dog use?

For UK orders we use DHL or Royal Mail. This means that for most of the UK mainland your goods will typically arrive within 3-4 working days. Please allow up to 7-10 working days if you’re situated in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Depending on where you live, delivery times may be extended,

 

For International Delivery we use Royal Mail Airmail to despatch your order. Please allow at least 14 days for your order to arrive.

 

If you have a problem with a delivery or with goods damaged in transit, email us at sales@dapperdog.co.uk.

 

Delivering to your address

Once an order has been processed the delivery address for that order cannot be changed. We are also unable to redirect mail once an order has been processed.

For these reasons, please supply us with a delivery address where someone will be home to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody home when the postman calls, they will leave a card. From there, you can collect your goods from your local branch.

 

 

RETURNS POLICY

We will happily refund or exchange any item purchased from Dapper Dog. However . . .

Returned goods MUST be unused with the original tags still intact. If items/goods are not returned in re-saleable condition – or if the tags have been removed – we will NOT issue a refund.

PLEASE NOTE: We will only pay the cost of return delivery if items are damaged, faulty or defective, not on wrongly ordered goods.

To help us deal with your return as quickly and efficiently as possible, you must mark all returns as “RETURNED GOODS”. All returns must have your receipt and reason for return attached.

We will credit the card that was used to purchase the product/item. Please be patient as this may take up to 10 working days to process as cleared funds.

What do I do if an item doesn't fit or I don't like the colour?

For UK customers, please return your goods within 30 days – or by the end of January (in the case of unwanted Christmas presents). For international customers, please return within 40 days. For return postage costs, please see below.

 

Show returns

If – for example – you purchased an item at a show and it does not fit, you might wish to make exchange. In this case, please note that you will be charged postage to send the correct item to you.

 

 

BLACK FRIDAY EVENT RETURNS

ALL BLACK FRIDAY EVENT PURCHASES ARE SUBJECT TO ITEMS/PRODUCTS BEING IN STOCK DURING THE 7 DAY PERIOD. PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY WILL NOT BE PUT ON BACK ORDER OR SENT OUT AT A LATER DATE.

ALL EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENT ITEMS/PRODUCTS FROM OUR BLACK FRIDAY EVENT WILL BE CHARGED AT FULL PRICE.

 

What do I do if an item is faulty when it's delivered?

Firstly, if this has happened to you, we are unduly sorry. Please repackage the product and return it to us with your receipt. Once we receive the goods:

 

  1. If you request a refund, we will do so by the method used to pay for the order. Please be patient as this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

 

  1. If you requested a replacement, we will aim to dispatch this within 7 working days (subject to item being in stock). We will keep you updated throughout the process.

 

Who pays the postage on returned items?

If you return an item due to it not fitting or being unsuitable, you will be responsible for the return postage costs. However, if you return something due to it being faulty or you received the wrong item, then we will refund the postage costs. If you are in either position, we recommend that you use recorded delivery or registered post. This way, you cover yourself against loss should these items go astray during transit.

 

How quickly will Dapper Dog process my return?

We aim to process all returns within 7 working days.

 

What happens if Dapper Dog are out of stock on replacement?

If you paid for your order by card, we will refund your card for the cost of the goods and postage. Please note that this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds. However, provided you don’t cancel your replacement order, we will dispatch and recharge a replacement when it comes back into stock.

 

How do I know if Dapper Dog has processed my return?

If you have not yet received your exchange or refund within 10 days please contact sales@dapperdog.co.uk

 

International Returns

Customers outside of the UK must follow the instructions above, along with our standard returns procedures. To help us deal with your return as quickly and efficiently as possible, you must mark all returns as “RETURNED GOODS”.

 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 Dapper Dog is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

All transactions initiated on the Dapper Dog website are confidential. Your name or personal information will not be added to any third party mailing lists.

 

 

THE DATA PROTECTION ACT

Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a duty to protect any information we collect from you. It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for two main reasons:

 

  • To process your online order.
  • To provide you with the most efficient possible service.

 

The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch with you and inform you of any offers, sales or promotions that Dapper Dog carries out (please note, this is only the case if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters).

You have a right to request a copy of any personal data held by Dapper Dog at any time – in order to check its accuracy. If you wish to do so, please write to sales@dapperdog.co.uk – explaining that your interest is in regards the personal data maintained by Dapper Dog.

This privacy policy will change from time-to-time as we develop the range of services on the website. When this privacy policy changes, we will place an updated version on this page. Regularly reviewing this page ensures that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances. We will not share your information with third parties. You should always check the privacy policy before using this site, even if you have visited it in the past. This ensures that you will be aware of any changes. Changes to our privacy policy do not affect information we already hold about you. This statement was last updated on 19th November 2020.

 

 

LAW

 

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

 

 

OTHER

 

All correspondence must be in English.

 

No liability is assumed by Dapper Dog or Linky UK Ltd for damage or injury to any persons/animals resulting from the products supplied.
